Employee Misconduct Risk

The risk of loss due to an employee acting inappropriately, illegally or negligently in breach of laws and regulations, approved policies and procedures and/or generally accepted business and community standards. The misconduct can be for financial or other gain, malicious reasons or to conceal operational issues, financial losses or regulatory and compliance breaches. This also includes employee fraud (Fraud Risk).
